A difficult task to narrow our favourites down to 10 with what you can make on a gas braai. An outdoor oven can literally do anything, it’s just a matter of understanding your braai, all its features, and experimenting with different methods of cooking.

Here are some of our most flavourful, some easy, and some a little more chef-y gas braai recipes! We even included dessert made right on your braai!

Rotisserie Chicken

1. Naqiyah Mayat’s harissa chicken braai roast

This will beat any supermarket’s ready-made rotisserie chicken, hands down! Use our Rotisserie Kits on your gas braai to cook a roast like no other. We have two sizes available, make sure you purchase the correct one to fit on your braai.

Smash burger

6. Jan Braai’s smash burgers

The most delicious, almost deconstructed, beef burger you will ever eat. The success of a smash burger is that the minced meat keeps its integrity while it cooks for juicier meat. Ultimately a burger that is full of flavour and texture.
