Megamaster Grill Pizza Stone

The pizza grill stone is made from ceramic stone, creating the illusion of a brick oven on your braai. Ceramic is porous in nature, absorbing excess moisture from your food for a perfectly crisp crust. Although very versatile, it is extremely fragile. Take these precautions for using and cleaning your pizza stone:

• Always let your Pizza Stone cool off first before removing it from the heat. Harsh changes in temperature could cause it to crack.
• Never wash your Pizza Stone in soap and water. The porous ceramic will absorb it and alter the flavour of your food.
• Use a scraper to remove droppings/food that is stuck, then wipe it with a damp cloth. If it is scratched or still appears dirty, that is the nature of the Pizza Stone.
• If it gets too dirty, use fine sandpaper to sand off raised pieces. 
• Store it in a safe place, and always handle it with care.
