For over 27 years, Megamaster has been flying the South African flag with pride, wearing our unique local heritage on our sleeves. To us, the warmth of the flames is really the warmth of human connection, and we know that the more we kindle it, the brighter it will burn.

At Megamaster we don't merely sell braais to last a lifetime, we are part of a generational experience of togetherness. Synonymous with braai culture in South African homes since 1997; 2024 now sees Megamaster keeping the flame burning even brighter, with our involvement in official SA School Sports.

Megamaster is proud to be part of  Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool (Affies), prestigious SA School’s 2024 Rugby Tournament season.

“The Megamaster brand has always stood for inclusivity and togetherness, and not just around the fire – where we’re best known, but on a family and community level, too. School sports, and rugby in particular, are both cornerstones of local heritage and an important part of what makes us patriotic and proudly South African,” says Elize Smit – Marketing Manager at Megamaster;

“The link between what Megamaster stands for as a household brand and the platform that SA School Sports offers, both remain deeply rooted in celebrating age-old traditions that we’ve all grown up with, but importantly, are centred around activities that bring us all together.”

The 2024 rugby season will see Affies’ first team take on massive opponents including Grey College, Jeppe, Menlopark, Pretoria Boys High, Paarl Boys high and many more. The sponsorship allows the team to travel throughout the country for these matches, each exciting encounter can also be watched live on SuperSport Channel 216

With more than 30 teams, 450 of SA’s most talented school rugby players it is bound to be a year of riveting clashes.
