We recommend that you use a heat-resistant lightbulb this can be purchased directly from any hardware or lighting store.

The recommended height is generally between 80 cm to 90 cm off the floor.

We recommend that you maintain your braai to prevent any major refurbishments.  When you start to notice corrosion or rust you simply need to sand it down to the bare metal and then repaint it with DTM heat resistant paint. You can purchase the DTM heat resistant paint directly from the Megamaster Customer Service Department or from any hardware store.

We recommend that you use a DTM (Direct to metal) heat resistant paint. This can be purchased directly from the Megamaster Customer Service Department or you can purchase this from any hardware store. You simply need to sand down your braai to the raw metal, remove any existing paint or any rust patches then paint with the DTM heat resistant paint. This should be done yearly or as often as required.
